East - West Arts :: Pottery

Each piece of East-West Pottery is hand thrown or hand built at the studio in Boulder, Colorado. Don Cox makes all the pieces thrown on the potters wheel. Ruthann does all the slab construction and the hand-painting on each piece. The pots are painted before they are fired in the kiln so that the decoration is melted into the glaze and will not fade away or chip off. These pots are made of high fire stoneware and are meant for everyday use. All pots are ovenproof, microwave safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.

Please note: The current line of pottery has stamped and textured rims and edges. Ruthann can match older versions of the patterns without the texture. Add 10% to prices for making the match. The white glaze of the iris pottery is now a different formula and may appear more of a cream color. Ruthann can match the older glaze for an additional 10% charge.
